Psychiatric experts overlook mind as the determinant factor in the dynamics of humans. Most of the parts of our human system, like our gestures ad mood, are controlled by our minds. The same way is applied to our feelings. With informations collected and compiled in the brain, the mind commands the ’heart’ to determine the desired circumstances.
When the influence of mind gains stronger effect onto our feeling, it’s to say we are factual persons, who always act upon facts. On the other hand, when the mind influences quite weak, we’re the kind of sensitive ones.
A factual person is typically more gifted to control his feelings. For his feelings are adept to get by the facts recorded in the brain with every detail prior to being delivered to the heart. On the other hand, a sensitive one tends to be emotional since his mind doesn’t redirect the facts recorded in the brain as he responses to the realities he copes with. To be true, he gets them straight to the heart as they are. He directs the informations using his feelings.
Hence, optimizing the mind will be prominent to do. By doing this, the feelings –as well as life- can be controlled to the direction we desire. With the mind, we can change sadness into joy, fear into courage, inferiority into self-confidence, pessimism into optimism, or boredom into ardor. It’s no wonder when Marcus Aurelius, a philosopher, declared: “Our life is ruled by our mind”.
So, one thing to do is control the mind. Don’t let our mind get to worsen the state of our feelings. It’s considerably good to keep perceiving the realities positively.
